MiTSA Committee Values
MiTSA committee members are expected to uphold our shared values: respect, inclusion, reliability, accountability, and open communication. We look for people who are proactive, team-oriented, open to growth, and genuinely committed to serving the post-graduate student community.
Committee members commit to:
Treating others with respect, even during disagreement.
Communicating openly and keeping one another in the loop.
Giving and receiving feedback with respect, and using it to help one another improve.
Taking responsibility for mistakes and learning from them.
Sharing credit and supporting the team's success.
Approaching difficult conversations with maturity, honesty, and care.
Helping build a welcoming, student-focused community.
Recognition
Committee members who complete a full six-month term in good standing are recognised on our website permanently.
MiTSA has one of the lowest turnover rates of any volunteer student club — something we're proud of, and a reflection of the community our members build together.
