MiTSA Committee Values

MiTSA committee members are expected to uphold our shared values: respect, inclusion, reliability, accountability, and open communication. We look for people who are proactive, team-oriented, open to growth, and genuinely committed to serving the post-graduate student community.

Committee members commit to:

  • Treating others with respect, even during disagreement.

  • Communicating openly and keeping one another in the loop.

  • Giving and receiving feedback with respect, and using it to help one another improve.

  • Taking responsibility for mistakes and learning from them.

  • Sharing credit and supporting the team's success.

  • Approaching difficult conversations with maturity, honesty, and care.

  • Helping build a welcoming, student-focused community.

Recognition

Committee members who complete a full six-month term in good standing are recognised on our website permanently.

MiTSA has one of the lowest turnover rates of any volunteer student club — something we're proud of, and a reflection of the community our members build together.
